English language has several words that are quite difficult to use. For instance, homonyms or words with the same sound (often same spelling) but different meaning (eg.: compliment/complement) . There are also words that are identical in spellings but differ in meanings and pronunciations- close (shut) and close (near). Such words are called heteronyms. gk.JPG
